Nisha Rawal’s Choti Si Asha

Nisha has had a long standing bond with music. She has starred in a number of music videos with singing legends, may it be Sonu Nigam’s ‘Chanda Ki doli” or “Kabhi Aisa lagta hai” by Lucky Ali. The transition of Nisha, from being a leading face of the Ad world to Music was a natural progression.  Nisha has already, successfully released her first cover song on raving reviews on social media.

Nisha is all set to come out with her next cover this Children’s day aptly titled “Choti Si Asha”. Nisha is very fond of children and engages with NGOs working towards various causes on a regular basis. One such NGO is Vatsalya Foundation, that has been running shelters for underprivileged children for over 3 decades now.

“I come here time to time; it just lifts my spirits being around these kids. There is so much hope and energy in their eyes. The innocent faces full of dreams and determination, has always been a source of inspiration to me. The Song ‘Choti si Asha’ embodies the life and struggle of these children. Always determined and ready to take on their dreams with a smile.”

The famous Meet brothers have been part of Nisha’s musical journey from the beginning. Talking about her upcoming song Manmeet (Meet bros) said, “We have always loved Nisha’s voice and used to always wonder if she will ever take the plunge. We are Glad she has. She is a very aware artist and knows where her strength lies. When she spoke to me about “Choti Si Asha”, we were much pumped. It is a perfect choice for her voice.”

The Video, like the last one has been directed by none other than her husband Karan Mehra. The song will feature the vibrant faces of the children from Vatsalya Foundation alongside Nisha.

Her last video ended with a surprise for her fans in the form of Karan Mehra. This time too, there is a special treat for her fans in form of a legend for the world of dance and choreography.  Stay Tuned.
