Mumbai International Short Film Festival –A golden platform for independent filmmaker
All film enthusiasts had the auspicious opportunity to enjoy and educate themselves through viewing different short movies like PARDES which showcased the problem of a migrant who came to Mumbai to earn a leaving to struugle and earn money, to a 30 sec per min showcase of how general public is harassed by call centre employees from telecom companies and then movie like REASONABLE COMPROMISE which showed of the lifestyle of homosexual community.
The film festival was inaugurated by film director Anant Mahadevan and former Miss World Yukta Mookhey.
Friend’s filmmaking is a creative medium but it has never been easy to become a filmmaker unless backed by corporate but Short film festivals like this are no doubt a boon for independent filmmaker.
