Dhinchak Sasta Diwali – Shoes, bags and Anarkalis.

Dhinchak Sasta Diwali – Shoes, bags and Anarkalis.

Dhinchak Mumbai is back with a few more tips to help you go easy on your poor pocket, shopping this festive season. With prices galloping (Auto and Taxi ka rates!!) we bring to you some smart moves that could help you have an exuberant yet ‘within your budget’ Diwali celebration.

Beginning with every girl’s fetish – Shoes. Using your aesthetic skills is a great way to recycle footwear rather than splurging on new ones. So open your shoe cabinet and pick out a pair of stilettos, preferably platform pumps that match your attire. You could use some colourful beads or sequences by first marshalling them according to your style and then pasting them on your shoe. This would give an entirely new look at a cost next to nothing. Moreover, pumps being most appropriate if wearing ‘anarkalis’ make sure you buy sturdy, comfortable and hassle free ones. You don’t want to be squirming all day. For flats, Dhinchak Mumbai suggests La Judi at Bandra or Colaba Causeway.

And if you are a bag fanatic, Dharavi is just the right place to indulge in some good bargains. Offering a wide and pocket friendly range of bags, Dharavi is more or less the hub of leather bags. Also, you could find similar bag collections at showrooms and designer outlets for probably double or triple the price. So off to Dharavi for bag shopping!

Watch out for some more ‘Dos’ and ‘Don’ts’ that could help you save your pocket money this Diwali. We shall be covering cutlery and food shortly.
